The Sunday Ritual That Sets Up Your Week For Success

Sunday Scaries? Why not success on Sundays? I guess we can have mixed feelings about Sundays since it is the end of the weekend, but there is no better day to prepare for a productive week ahead. 

We all know that dreadful feeling of waking up on Monday morning. But instead, why can’t we feel organized and energized? This is why Sundays can be so important to set your week up for success. 

Sundays are so important because it is a chance to reflect on the past week and weekend, reset, and think about your goals for the week. Without this, people can stumble into their week not even knowing where to start. This Sunday ritual does not have to take all day, or be something you dread. It’s more about what will bring you clarity and confidence to take into this full week ahead. Let’s keep it chill.

Grab an iced latte from your favorite cafe, and maybe even a sweet treat. Sit on the couch with a big cozy blanket and set 3-5 priorities for the upcoming week. What do I wanna get done? What do I need to finish? A few clear priorities can be helpful, instead of a long overwhelming to-do list

It may also be helpful to meal prep, and grocery plans. Although this is completely optional, a little planning goes a long way. Pick 2-3 meals to prep ingredients for for the week, and maybe some healthy snacks to have on the go. HUGE time saver. 

A 30-minute Sunday reset can be so helpful to de-clutter your space, and mind. Spend this time doing laundry, washing the dishes, decluttering your workspace, and wiping down surfaces. This can reflect a clean slate for the upcoming week.

Before bed on Sunday, take a few minutes to slow down. This could look like a relaxing warm bath, journaling, or just planning your outfit for the next day. A time to decompress, and maybe make your Monday 1% calmer. 

Make this a fun and relaxing ritual, not a chore! These steps are not necessary to be successful at all, but they are intentional. It is about creating a space to reset and prepare. Take a couple hours FOR YOURSELF

Of course, everyone’s Sunday rituals will look different, and that is ok. Do what works for you, and what makes you feel prepared and ready for the week ahead.  This can look like 15 minutes or 2 hours, whatever feels right to you. This is about creating something that benefits your goals, energy and priorities. A few hours on Sunday can transform your week.
