"Growth often begins when we allow ourselves to sit with discomfort in a safe space."

ADVANCED CLINICAL FELLOW

all about morley

Morley believes therapy should be a place where you can slow down, feel genuinely understood, and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. Her warm, thoughtful presence helps clients feel comfortable bringing their whole selves into the room, whether they are navigating a major life transition, feeling overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life, or simply wanting to better understand themselves. Morley approaches therapy with curiosity and compassion, creating a space where clients can be honest about where they are while feeling supported in moving toward where they want to be.

Morley works with young adults and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. She is particularly passionate about supporting clients through periods of change and uncertainty, including the transitions that can come with college, career, relationships, and figuring out who you are and what you want. She understands that even positive changes can feel overwhelming and believes that therapy can provide a space to process those experiences without judgment.

Her approach is integrative, collaborative, and trauma-informed. Morley draws from mindfulness, somatic awareness, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, bodies, and behaviors. She is especially interested in helping clients develop greater self-awareness, build healthy coping strategies, manage stress, and feel more grounded and connected to themselves.

how she works

Morley’s clinical background includes facilitating support groups for individuals navigating eating disorders and leading weekly groups for college students experiencing stress, identity shifts, and the challenges of adjusting to a new stage of life. These experiences shaped her belief in the power of feeling less alone and having a space where difficult experiences can be explored openly. She brings that same emphasis on connection, belonging, and authentic self-expression into her work with individual clients.

Before returning to school to pursue counseling, Morley spent several years working in corporate fashion at SPANX. Her experience in a fast-paced professional environment gave her a firsthand understanding of the pressures, expectations, and demands that can come with work and adult life. She brings this perspective into her work with clients who are balancing careers, relationships, personal expectations, and the desire to create a life that feels meaningful rather than simply keeping up with everything on their plate.

Morley is currently completing her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Fordham University. She believes that therapy is not about becoming a different person, but about developing a deeper understanding of yourself and creating the space, confidence, and tools to live more authentically.
