"I believe you deserve to live your best life, and that the barriers to happiness can be overcome together "

megan Brown, lmhc

Associate Therapist

all about megan

Megan is a compassionate, grounded psychotherapist who believes meaningful change begins with real, human connection. Her style is warm, honest, and relational, often feeling less like a clinical appointment and more like a conversation with a trusted, insightful friend. She brings curiosity, presence, and an appropriate sense of humor into the room, creating a space where clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported. Megan understands that the therapeutic relationship itself is one of the most powerful tools for growth, and she prioritizes building safety, trust, and authenticity in every session.

Before becoming a therapist, Megan spent over a decade in the corporate world. This real-world experience deeply shapes her clinical work. She understands firsthand the pressures of achievement, burnout, career transitions, work-life balance, feeling stuck, and questioning fulfillment. Because she has lived in those spaces herself, Megan is especially attuned to the emotional and relational challenges that come with high expectations and big life changes. She helps clients navigate these moments with clarity, self-compassion, and confidence.

Megan has extensive experience supporting individuals navigating mood and personality disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. She is especially passionate about couples counseling and sex therapy, working with partners around communication, attachment styles, intimacy, sexual behavior patterns, and identity exploration. Megan proudly affirms members of the LGBTQIA+ community and is committed to providing inclusive, respectful, and empowering care where clients can show up fully as themselves.

At her core, Megan is driven by a desire to see people thrive, not by anyone else’s definition of success, but by what feels authentic, meaningful, and sustainable for them.

how she works

Megan’s approach is collaborative, relational, and highly personalized. She blends evidence-based modalities with flexibility and attunement to the individual sitting across from her. Her clinical work incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Gottman Methodology for couples. She also integrates holistic and biophysiological strategies into treatment, informed by her Advanced Graduate Certificate in Wellness, Engagement, and Mindfulness, bringing an integrative and Eastern-influenced perspective to emotional, relational, and physical wellbeing.

Above all, Megan works with compassion, honesty, and curiosity. She meets clients where they are, values authenticity over perfection, and partners with them to create meaningful, lasting change both inside and outside the therapy room.
