"Just believe in yourself. Even if you don't, pretend that you do and, at some point, you will."

all about emily

Emily is the kind of therapist who makes it easy to feel at ease in the therapy room. Warm, approachable, and genuinely curious, she creates a space where clients can be honest about what is really going on, without worrying about saying the “right” thing. She brings compassion and a sense of humor to her work, while also gently challenging the thoughts, patterns, and expectations that may be keeping you stuck. With Emily, therapy is a place to feel supported, understood, and, hopefully, leave each session feeling a little lighter and a little more clear about what comes next.

Emily works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, and the often complicated process of figuring out how to balance work, relationships, and your own needs. She especially enjoys working with clients who are going through a transition or feeling pulled in multiple directions and want support making sense of what they are experiencing. Whether you are adjusting to a new chapter, struggling with a relationship, feeling overwhelmed by expectations, or simply know that something needs to change, Emily helps clients slow down, gain perspective, and move forward with greater intention.

how she works

Her therapeutic style is collaborative, practical, and grounded in genuine connection. Emily believes that feeling understood is an important part of therapy, but so is making progress. She works alongside clients to identify patterns, challenge unhelpful ways of thinking, develop effective coping strategies, and translate the work happening in session into real-life change. Emily’s approach is tailored to each person, recognizing that therapy should feel personal rather than one-size-fits-all.

Emily’s clinical experience spans a wide range of settings and populations in addition to working with adults, she also works with adolescents and families. Emily brings a thoughtful balance of empathy and honesty to therapy. She wants clients to know that they do not have to navigate difficult seasons alone—and that therapy can be a place to laugh, vent, gain a new perspective, and work toward meaningful change all at the same time.
