"Healing takes time. Forgiveness takes time. Growth takes time. But every step forward brings you closer to the peace and strength you deserve"
Avery brings a warm, grounded, and empathic presence to her work, creating a judgment free space where clients can show up exactly as they are. She helps clients feel safe and understood and believes meaningful change starts with intentional therapeutic connection, something she prioritizes building from her very first meeting with clients.
Avery builds genuine, collaborative partnerships with her clients, encouraging honest exploration while also gently challenging them to stretch beyond familiar patterns. Whether clients are navigating anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, or self-esteem challenges, Avery supports them in strengthening self-worth, deepening self-awareness, and building resilience. Throughout the process, she remains a steady and dependable presence as clients move toward meaningful, lasting change.
Avery has experience working with individuals with anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, relationship challenges, life transitions, and maternal mental health. She approaches therapy from a humanistic lens, integrating psychodynamic insight with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness practices. Avery fosters self-reflection and confidence, which encourages clients to take meaningful risks to move forward in ways that feel authentic and aligned with their goals.
In each session, Avery balances reflection with action. Clients leave feeling supported and understood, while also gaining concrete strategies and skills they can apply in their everyday lives. Her goal is for therapy to feel both purposeful and empowering — a space for deeper understanding, confidence, and authentic growth.
