"You don't have to choose between being strong and being vulnerable. Therapy is where you learn how to be both."
Known for her down-to-earth approach, Caitlin is a therapist who blends warmth, humor, and authenticity. She’s often described as someone who makes it feel safe to be vulnerable, while also challenging you to rethink the patterns that no longer serve you. Caitlin knows that opening up can feel intimidating, especially when you’ve gotten good at holding it all together, and her goal is to create a space where clients feel safe enough to finally let their guard down.
Caitlin believes therapy works best when it's collaborative. Her approach is about creating a safe space without pressure, allowing her clients to show up exactly as they are. Her goal is to help people feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow, even when the process feels uncertain. Her style is humanistic and relational, blending humor with flexibility, because she knows therapy is never one-size-fits-all.
Caitlin’s years of experience as a child and family therapist give her a deep understanding of how early dynamics shape the way people move through the world as adults. Through this work, she developed a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and a deep appreciation for how early environments influence patterns of self-worth, relationships, and emotional responses later in life. This perspective informs her work with young adults who may be navigating boundaries, relationship challenges, or self-doubt rooted in their family of origin. She helps clients identify the roles and patterns they’ve outgrown and develop healthier ways of showing up in their relationships, their careers, and within themselves.
Caitlin’s approach to therapy is collaborative, relational, and grounded in authenticity. A central focus of her work is exploring family-of-origin dynamics and early experiences that continue to shape present-day patterns. Caitlin helps clients recognize how the roles they learned early in life can influence how they relate to themselves, others, and the world around them.
Drawing from psychodynamic therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and attachment-based, trauma-informed practices, Caitlin tailors her work to each client. EMDR and trauma-focused approaches can help clients process difficult experiences and reduce the emotional weight those memories may still carry. With a strong foundation in child and family therapy, Caitlin brings a developmental lens to her work, particularly with young adults navigating life transitions, boundary-setting, or questions about identity and self-worth. Together, she and her clients reflect on how the past shapes the present, explore what no longer serves them, and practice new ways of showing up in their lives. Sessions are a balance of empathy and challenge, with a bit of fun woven in to keep the work approachable and human.
Her clients often say they leave sessions feeling seen and supported, but also inspired to shift perspective and make intentional changes. Caitlin’s goal is to help clients strengthen boundaries, build confidence, and cultivate relationships that feel aligned with who they truly are–not who they needed to be earlier in life.
