She taught me how to recognize my negative self-talk and how to redirect my thoughts in a more positive direction. This exercise has helped me limit my negative thoughts and treat myself kinder. Haley has also taught me how to adjust my all or nothing attitude. She challenges me on my negative thoughts and has me look at all scenarios: worst, best, and what most likely will happen. This process helps to ground me and avoid an endless anxiety spiral.
