With a background in women’s mental health, Laura has experience supporting clients as they grieve with loss, adjust to life changes and cope with daily stressors. Laura also has an extensive background in yoga, meditation and breathwork. She is a strong believer in the mind-body connection and loves incorporating mindfulness into her work.
Laura believes building deeper self-awareness is the first step towards positive growth and change. She helps her clients better understand themselves by unpacking their pasts and learning how the past can impact the present. By incorporating mindfulness into her work, Laura aims to help clients feel grounded in the present moment and less overwhelmed by past experiences and future expectations. Laura also guides clients to break negative recurring patterns and replace them with a new and fresh lens. Clients will gain clarity on what is not working for them and learn to incorporate new ways to move towards a life they love.
Laura empowers her clients to be their best and most authentic selves. She helps clients recognize their innate strengths and unique qualities, empowering clients to make meaningful life choices, strengthen relationships with others and deepen their sense of worthiness.
Laura specializes in working with clients experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues and women’s health challenges, including those particularly related to gender and sexuality. She draws from many different modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Psychodynamic Therapy. Laura sees her clients through their own unique perspectives and tailors her approach to meet each client’s individual needs and goals.
In working with Laura, clients can expect she will be with them through every step of their journey. Clients will not only leave with greater self awareness but with greater self-love and acceptance.
